Dual Here 3+ on CAN2 with splitter issue (bad health)

Hi,

we have a drone setup with dual Here3+. Each one in Can1 and Can2. Not problem, works ok

We install a radaraltimeter, that works only in CAN1.

Therefore, we need to connect both GPS throught CAN splitter in CAN2 port on cube orange.

The gps works but…

GPS bad health… unable to arm…

there is any special configuration to setup the both gps on the same can port?

thanks

Check that GPS1_CAN_OVRIDE and GPS2_CAN_OVRIDE are set to different ID values (unless they are both zero, which should be ok).

Hi @PVR2022 i was faced same issue on dual here3+ . I think this topic will help you to solve your problem. Just need Here3+ firmware upgrade.

i try to update by mission planner dronecan setup. but not works. the current version of my here3+ are the 1.3.4AB183F6 and i dont find new firmware

There are at 0, both gps
yoou recommend to change to the can id of each gps?

i setup each id and the error keeps. gps2 bad health

i will try dual here 4 to test if the issue affects only on here3+

Did you tried beta firmware update?
Make sure at a time 1 gps should connect.

Both set to zero is fine.

The firmware update seems prudent at this point.

i can not update the here 3+ in mission planner. what is the latest firmware avaiable?

mine is 1.34…

at the update window, still in download fw, but stops, not charge any uploads
