DSMX Bind mode in mission Planner

I have a SPM9646 satellite receiver and a Spektrum DX6e transmitter. I cannot get them to bind. I tried the dsmx bind feature in Mission Planner 1.3.44 and it does not work. Any help is appreciated.

Its a pixhawk board.

I figured out part of my problem…no power to the dsm port on the pixhawk.

Just wanted to update this. The SPM 9646 satellite receiver can be bound with out a main receiver.

hello i have a hexo+ using mission planner with spectrum satellite receiver and dx5e i can’t get the bars to become green just greyed out anyone know what I’m doing wrong or will this dx5e even work it should it binds to satellite with rx??
