Hello, I was looking at connecting a DPS368 sensor to my pixhawk2 cube black via I2C and looking at the datasheets for the DPS310 and DPS368, it looks like it would be possible operate the DPS368 using the drivers for the DPS310. I’m wondering if I have a correct assumption and if not any guidance on how I could make it work would be much appreciated
Any insights on this…?
It shouldn’t be look like or sort of the same, when comes to spec, especially chip driver.
We need carefully read specs and evaluate the difference. Maybe it’s a good idea to talk to the FAE. Make sure what’s the difference. Then test those differences and report if it’s working.
That’s kind of engineer work.
Or you will got this chip likely to work and kind of stable, which might lead to catastrophe.
So following steps suggested:
a) Make the comparison from spec, especially registers from those two specs.
b) Evaluate the difference, make changes (hardware/software) and test
Then you will get result.
