DO_SET_REVERSE still supported?

Just checking if the DO_SET_REVERSE command is still supported? I am trying to move back and forth between waypoints without turning 180 degrees. I saw this might be able to be achieved through a DO_SET_SPEED to a negative number as well. Is this movement possible?
