I would like to know if there is away to get the stream of the DJI O3 cam in my ground station (PC) in an ip or whatever like SIYI, and not in the Goggles. I want to do some Ai analysis using the steam.
I have CUAV X7 as FCU
Or if there is another small size (similar to DJI O3) VTX that support my requirement, kindly let me know
so there is some stuff that would possibly work with the older vista/air units using fpv.wtf hacked goggles v2 and widefpv out. You would have to figure out how to get the video from widefpv to your source. if you require a different camera you can try a new board by cinetronix that allows you to hook up other cameras/pc to hdmi then stream it to goggles.Video input dev board (HDMI compatible) – Cinetronix | Store
@MadRC
Sorry for posting my question in Ardupilot forum. I have posted this question both on DJI and WTFOS forum but no response thus far. So I am hopping someone might know the answer on this forum.
I have DJI Goggle V2 rooted and they work with both Vista and DJI FPV drone (Potato) without hooking up the phone because the goggles have the original FW. In order to use O3 airunit with Canvas mode, I need to update my goggles FW which will force me to hookup the phone every time I fly my DJI FPV drone. Is there a way to disable hooking up the phone every time we fly DJI drone?
I’m afraid you have to make a choice of either being tethered to the phone, or not updating your V2 firmware.
If you decide to be tethered, make sure you’re phone will be compatible. My Potato and Avata are functionally bricked since my phone wasn’t compatible with the latest Fly App.
@ddegn@Yuri_Rage thanks for your reply. I’ll keep my goggles with original FW since it is working with both O3 and Vista, my only complain is that the OSD elements on O3 are shoved in the middle of the screen.
