I am looking for a Windows program which I thought I found on the web ( but have now lost).
It enabled the user to plug the T’rex Controller into a Windows PC via a USB cable and then to program it in some way.
Does any one know of this software. I am not looking for the Arduino IDE.
By “programming” I mean setting values for various pins & other parms etc. through a Windows screen.
Here is the download site for the DAGU T’REX electronic speed controller: https://sites.google.com/site/daguproducts/home/download-page
There appears to be only a Windows USB interface available that may allow you to communicate with the T’REX using a terminal.
I assume that you have the Sparkfun DAGU T’REX speed controller manual? https://cdn.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Robotics/T’REX%20robot%20controller%20instruction%20manual1.pdf
The T’REX controller is extremely complex and somewhat of an overkill for the Wild Thumper. I prefer Dimension Engineering products http://www.dimensionengineering.com/products/sabertooth2x25 which only require a dip switch to set all of the extensive menu of modes.
