Looking forward to 3.6 and the new Loiter. I have a medium sized X8 that is now flying on a IMX6 solo board. This new loiter looks like a good fit and I will be loading it right away

I am currently mounting a gimbal and camera and have been reading about the Storm32 only working properly now with BetaCopter which I assume is a fork.
I really want to avoid running forked copter.
The alexmos board is setting on my bench and I have a Storm32 NT mounted. As 3.6 approaches and Betacopter heads off into its own direction what gimbal controller is best for now?
