Hi everyone! I couldn’t find a specific category for ArduSub, but I’m using ArduPilot for a submersible with a Pixhawk 2.4.8. I’m facing the error mentioned in the title. Does anyone know what I should change to fix this? I’ve already tried different configuration tweaks, but the issue persists. Any suggestions?

I think the vehicle doesn’t have a GPS so it cannot get a position estimate and also can’t set the home location. I’m not a sub expert but I’m surprised that causes an arming failure in Manual mode. Maybe you’ve got some fences defined?

The pixhawk i am using doesn’t have external gps, even so, before this error does not appear. What kind of fences are you talking about? Could it be some configuration i turned on?

Which version of sub are you using? When you say, “before this error does not happen” any idea what has changed? Firmware update?
Fences are enabled using the FENCE_ENABLE parameter
