Coptre vs plane?

I have built a fixed wing Kadet Senior to electric power and I am going to use it as a photo platform UAV.
I have purchased Arducopter and gps etc But now wondering if I will have a problem using arducopter in a plane? The ad where I bought it said copter, plane, rover or boat. But having wiring problems, If it is compatible which wiring should I use, plane? or copter?
Thanks

An APM or a Pixhawk will connect to a plane, quad or rover.
You need to use the wiring diagram for your type of vehicle and then upload the relevant firmware (arducopter, arduplane or ardurover).

:astonished: Okay thanks, but having problems finding websites with correct wiring and firmware, I dont want to guess and risk letting the smoke out of the controller.
