Copter crashing while taking off in drone kit

The drone is working fine during manual takeoff and loitering.

But it’s flipping while trying to take off using drone kit.

Drone kit version:2.9.2
Arducopter 4.0.7

I have the same setup AC 4.0.7 and DK 2.9.2. I sometimes had erratic takeoffs because the arm, and takeoff commands happened too close to each other. Sometimes motors can stall a bit when you initially arm, and my observation was that some motors weren’t quite ready when the autopilot tried to execute takeoff. Adding a 3 second delay between arm command and takeoff solved this problem for me.
