I recently have a quad that has been flying really well with no issues. I uploaded the Copter-4.6.0-beta2 to it and now it won’t allow me to arm in loiter mode, says “gps1 still config this gps”. If I take off in altitude hold and switch it does fine. I will attach a photo on the error code. I am using 2 of the holybro m10 ublox gps. It doesn’t matter how long I leave it sitting, it will never clear that code.
I had analogue trouble with U-Blox. But don’t remember what I did to fix.
Just recheck GPS and UART configuration.
Connect drone to MP and look for messages like " GPS1 detected as U-Blox at 115200 sw ver blablabla", GPS Config saved" etc. If something wrong- you’l see it

MOT_HOVER_LEARN = 2 does not work.
MOT_THST_HOVER does not change.
My MOT_THST_HOVER is around 0.11.
Are there any limits built in ?
Yes it will not go below 0.15

You can also just add weight to the copter.

I think it will be fine even if it is slightly off. The altitude controller includes I-terms that should be able to quickly compensate for the difference.

If you have Hower thrtl less 15% you can have problem flying in field near trees- wind go up to terrain trees so dron will go up to. Motors can’t rotatre less Armed Speed. Dron will be unstable.
You can’t descent it. So just add battery capacity and wheght.
My experience say “minimal hower trtl should be 17-18%” Not less.
Good stable dron will have 20%.
All my drones hover below 0.15 and are perfectly fine
I have other experience when hower 0,12
Trottle out 0-2%, dron increase alt from 50 to 65 m in few sec :))))

How good is the thr_expo set?
How? If all motors at idle speed but drone increase alt.
Post a log, but the common mistake is to have MOT_SPIN_ARM set too high
