COPTER 4.4.0 PIXY WE 7.7.3 mnt_type = 6 no work

Hello,

I followed all the steps here: Gremsy Mio, Pixy, S1, T3, T7, and ZIO 3-Axis Gimbals — Copter documentation (ardupilot.org)

and I can see the gimbal with mav inspector, but I tryed many hours without any success…

I’ve been able to make it work by setting MNT_TYPE = 4, but the pitch position feedback using pot is really bad.

I tried to check with gremsy but they told me that’s normal…

Hi @kuspower,

I think the Gremsy WE is not supported. You’ll see that it’s in the warning section.

I’ll bring it up with Gremsy again but officially it’s not supported I think.

There are ways to make some of the functions work using and Air Pixel Entire integrated with ArduPilot, but not all functions are supported by the camera, by the various GCS options, and the various autopilot versions.
There is work in progress to get Workswell, Gremsey, ArduPilot, Air Pixel, Mission Planner, and QGC to all be compatible.

This is probably an issue with rate mode vs absolute position mode
