Copter-4.3.6 released!

Copter-4.3.6 has been released as the stable/official version and can be installed using MP, QGC or can be directly downloaded from firmware.ardupilot.org.

The changes vs 4.3.5 are in the ReleaseNotes and also copied below.

  1. Bi-directional DShot fix for possible motor stop approx 72min after startup

This fix is critical for vehicle using bi-directional DShot that could be flying 72min after startup because the chance of failure is about 30%.

Note that this does not affect the more common regular DShot which many vehicles use. Only Bi-Directional DShot (which provides RPM feedback from the ESCs to the autopilot) is affected.

Hi @kangdeugil,

Txs for the report. I tried to reproduce the issue in SITL (with Copter-4.3.6) but I could not. This doesn’t mean there isn’t a problem, it’s just that I couldn’t reproduce it.

The log you’ve posted is very short. Maybe this is from the wrong flight?
