Copter-4.3.6-beta2 available for beta testing

We’ve just released Copter-4.3.6-beta2 for beta testing and it should be available for installation using MP and QGC within about 6hrs of this posting. The changes vs 4.3.5 are in the ReleaseNotes and also copied below.

  1. Bi-directional DShot fix for possible motor stop approx 72min after startup

Although we’ve had no reports of this happening on multicopters, we’ve had 3 crashes on QuadPlanes due to this issue. In short, if using the bi-directional DShot feature (not regular DShot) then there is about a 1 in 3 chance that the motors will stop if the vehicle is flying 72 min after startup.

P.S. Note that this is -beta2. -beta1 was released for about 12hrs before we discovered an additional improvement for the bi-directional dshot issue.

P.P.S from now on, Copter beta releases will use “-beta” instead of “-rc” (aka “release candidate”) to better align with Plane and Rover.

Thanks in advance for all testing and feedback!
