Controlling hydraulic skid steer mower

I am considering a larger ArduRover build. As background Ive built a skid steer rover basedd on a Sabertooth 2x60 in the past which was a lot of fun.

I’d like to try something a bit more complex but I imagine completely possible.

A skid steer mower has just two controls - one for left wheel and one for right. Do we have any examples of this already?

I was thinking of using linear actuators. What would be the best way to go about this?

I am guessing some sort of controller would be required that can take the signal of the Pixhawk in skid steer mode and feed to actuator a desired position?

Any knowledge of steering non-electric skid steer machines with RC would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Looks like this will suit linear actuator position control:

Gidday @benrb , how’d you get on with this as I’m looking at doing something similar? I’ve just made a big post regarding it under Rover \ chassis.
