Contol gimbal by mavlink

Hi All,

i’m wondering how to (manually) control a payload, which in my case is a mavlink compatible 3-axis gimbal, but PWM (3-chan, tilt-roll-yaw) applies as well.
What i’m looking for is something like a simple “virtual joystick” similar to the payload control pane which is avaiable for subs i think, but it disappears after connecting to a copter. Other than than, it would be useful to have a “test mode” for the pointing functions or waypoint-based pointing, like manually launching a DO_MOUNT_CONTROL with params.

Is that possible?
