Connecting the sonar

Dear Sirs. I came across a sonar with the following connection diagram. I connected it according to this diagram. But it doesn’t work. I can’t find the error. I ask for your help.

How did you configure ArduRover parameters for that sonar? What parameters did you chnge? To which values? Can you provide a datasheet to that particular sonar?

I have set the parameters for this module:
RNGFND1_MAX_CM = 700
RNGFND1_MIN_CM = 50
RNGFND1_ORIENT = 25
RNGFND1_TYPE = 17
SERIAL2_PROTOCOL = 9
SERIAL2_BAUD = 4
As for the sensor itself, it was not bought by me, it happened to be in my possession.

I decided to try using it on my Orange Cube, without having any professional sonar experience.


All I had was this sonar data.

No, and no. You might have to write a driver for it.

Leddar Vu8 uses MODBUS as well, you could use it as reference.
