Configure Mission planner without remote controle

Hello, i have note received my remote controle and i would like to try to fly my hexacopter s550 with mission planner .

I have a APM 2.8.

Thank you to tell me how i can configure my engines without the remote control

Don’t!
Not until you get it tuned, in any case.
Whilst you can enable joystick or guided mode, you really need to be properly tuned first, which is better and safer if done with a remote.

Moving to Copter-3.2.1 category 'cuz that was the last version that supported the AVR/APM hardware.

Hi - I am trying the opposite, but seem to have some basic issues with setting up remote. I have the Quad firmware loaded , and want to enable my Spectrum DXe in APM 2.x. (x because I am running different versions on PC and Mac - yet same result). During the basic setup of the radio I do not see the green bars, and APM reports that the remote is not connected (which is physically not the case - being plugged into RC in on PX4). Thanks for any hints in this matter.
