I have a dual prop plane that I want to configure as a VTOL tailsitter. The elevator is far from the prop-wash but I suspect that I would be able get enough pitch authority by remapping the ailerons to elevons in VTOL mode. Is there a way to conditionally remap these control surfaces when it enters a Q-mode?

If you have powerful enough controller you could use Lua to drive these servos depending on whatever you want.
Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn’t looked into LUA scripting but it looks like I can make it work with a paramater change in there.
