Condition yaw command support for quad-planes

Is there any way we could replicate the command MAV_CMD_CONDITION_YAW in any mode ( possibly through a function in script ) since the command doesn’t seem to support planes, quad-planes??. I tried navigating the quad-plane in guided mode as VTOL by giving waypoints within 5-10 meter distance, it seems to be reaching the waypoint but without changing the yaw (very minor change).
