Currently we don’t have interface to accept other AHRS, but that something that will come !
Those sensor that you are mentioning are the same as in the pixhawk : MPU6050 but with a processor to filter it. The Madgwick and Mahony filter have been beaten from sometime already ! I pretty sure that our EKF is better in many aspect that those filter, but I would be interested in testing both on a copter or plane to do a fair comparison.
