Channel assignment with switch

Is it possible that in the future development of the pixhawk we can have
advantage of channels available because I think pixhawk has 12 channels.
Currently channel 5 has 6 separate functions possible, would it be better to have only 3 that functions, but can also have on Ch 6 and 7 ? :neutral_face:

je soumet ma question directement en français
j’utilise mission planner avec arducopter V3.1.

Actuellement il y a six modes sur le Ch 5
un mode sur le Ch 7 et un mode sur le Ch 8 .

est_il possible d’avoir dans les futures firmware uniquement 3 modes à la place de 6 dans le Ch5 et d’avoir aussi 3 mode sur le Ch 7 et sur le Ch8 ?

Nous pourrions ainsi avoir d’avantage de combinaison possible avec des switch 3 position.
