I have a recent new hexacopter build using a Pixracer, a cheap thorax frame and some spare 2205 emax motors. Worked fine on plastic props after a bit of PID adjustment. Then when I upgraded to a set of 5x4.5 carbon fibre props all not good. Radio dropouts, GPS glitches. Switched back to plastic and all good. Just to be sure i tried the CF props again and had the same problems. Settled on using a set of plastic three bladed 5x4s. No issues…??
