Cant install Mission Planner

When trying to install mission planner on my Windows 8.1, I get the message that says I need Microsoft .net framework 4.0. When installing .net framework 4.0, I get the message that it is already a part of my operating system and I do not need to install it.

How should i proceed?

Hello, install .net framework 4.6.1 or higher version

trying to install .net framework 4.6.1:

Trying to install the KB2919355 update it requests:

… what can I do?

Probably the easiest way is try to download and apply every update from Windows Update in control panel.
According to Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 update: April 2014 - Microsoft Support

Note The update for Windows RT 8.1 can be obtained only from Windows Update.
