Can we install compass board side ways on Arduplane?

Hi all,

Wondering if I can install my GY-273 compass board on the side of the fuselage , away from the electronics and current carrying wires, at 90 degrees instead of laying flat inside the fuselage at 0 degrees? Thanks.

if i remember well you can do it… but set also the yaw and calibrate it

Sure you can and the orientation parameter is set automatically by default (COMPASS_AUTO_ROT) when you run the calibration function.
