I think it will be in next release (rc-3?)
As for the tfmini , yes you can download the firmware flasher from Benewake and it will be automatically updated to latest

Just to clarify, we update the firmware of the TF mini. We leave the settings in the normal state in the GUI (Not pixhawk data format) .
In Ardupilot, we use the TFmini settings.
That should work, right?
Will this give us any more benefit than using the lightwave serial setup i have just configured?

Exactly, TFMINI being type 20.
In effect there is no significant difference but you have the correct presets
