Can i get the pixhawk 2.4.8 on rover 4.0 to OUTPUT in ppm?

yet another boat project on the horizon. My friend would like to retain the current control board which i believe takes a PPM signal from the RX …

so. can i connect the RX via sbus/ppm to the control board and configure the FC to output PPM?

or

are ppm encoders two way so i can translate the outputs of the pix into a single ppm into the boats control board.
