I think this issue is present for a while. I noticed it many times, also before copter 4.3. QGC or Mission Planner calculates the amount of photos for surveys. In reality, the amount never match the calculated… During having a closer look to the photo icons on QGC, I noticed that on the waypoints are some “double shots”. What’s the reason for this? Can this be fixed?
