apologies if this is a stupid question but I haven’t been able to find an answer so far.
I’m using MAVProxy to simulate a fixed wing and the vehicle is depicted by two shapes, one blue-ish and one red-ish. When no wind is simulated this two overlap almost perfectly but when I introduce wind they are rotated one respect to the other (i.e. the two vehicles point towards different directions). Sorry I don’t have a picture right now to show.
My guess is that one points towards the direction of movement (motion with respect to the ground) while the other shows the actual direction of the aircraft (its attitude). Is this correct?

the different colors are showing different source of position : AHRS, GPS, true pos .
But they should agree most of the time
I see. Is there a way to know which is which?
