I would like to equip a plane with this lidar for landing assistance and testing, anyone has experience with this lidar ? will 8m stated measuring distance be useful ?

Good day, ive done some tests on my copter using the same sensor but with different protocol, sensor size is good but you have to consider that it’s unidirectional… if your plane is small size you can use it… depends the applications you need
