I have a question about the behavior of the APM if it comes to the following situation:
After the prearm check the pilot starts his copter in stabilize mode with a satcount ~3 and HDOP ~7.
He trusts in the enabled battery failsafe option that is set to RTL and flies his copter until battery failsafe is engaged.
Does the APM nevertheless engage the RTL mode or will it automatically switch to land mode beacause if the very imprecise GPS position during the arming procedure?
