Autotune with external governor

Hi @bnsgeyer ,
it is possible to do the autotune with an external governor in a gasser helicopter?.
I say this because when the helicopter lands in each setting, the motor will not stop since it will not go through channel 8 of the cube.

Yes it should be fine with an external governor. It should be no different than it shutting down after an auto mission.

Or Are you saying that you’re not using the heliRSC servo output on the cube to run the external governor?

I am not using the heliRSC servo output. In other words, the control of the gas goes directly to the governor.

Well it will work the same as how you are handling it with auto mode landings. You should really consider using the heliRSC servo output. There have been a lot of improvements to the rotor speed control to include the internal governor.
