Autotune in windy conditions?

It’s summer in the Southern Hemisphere at the moment which means that days of calm wind are relatively scarce where I live.

What is the best course of action when needing to Autotune?

I am assuming that one would I increase the Autotune aggresivness above 0.075 like many people suggest and possible tune from Poshold?

That is not an increase, that is a decrease. And yes, that is a good value. Point the tuned axis 90 Deg to the wind like explained on the wiki

What would you recommend the tuning parameters be set to in windy conditions? Also the wiki says that one should turn the drone into the wind on a calm day. Issue is that there are no calm days here in summer

I recommend following How to methodically tune (almost) any multicopter using ArduCopter 4.4.x

Tune in loiter - the copter will automatically be oriented correctly. Tune with a higher AGGR setting - that’s really your only option when there is a lot of external disturbance - unless you can tune indoors

What would you recommend. 0.085 or 0.095? the copter is about a 500 wheelbase

Well, certainly not 0.95! Try 0.1 - that is the default and may be fine for your case
