Autopilot fastening techniques for foam airplanes

I’ll place a matek H734 Wing hardware on a foam plane.
Since it contains accelerometers and gyro, keep the autopilot hardware integral with the fuselage is paramount.

Do you have any advice on how to secure the autopilot hardware to the fuselage in a foam plane?
Thank you so much!

Good quality thick double sided tape. I like the Gorilla tape. I’ve also 3D printed mounts to fit into planes where there wasn’t a big enough (or flat enough) mounting surface. The mounts were typically hot glued to the foam and then the FC was taped to the mounts.

Im a fan of velcro. It has excellent damping characteristics, is easy to install, and remove if required.
I sometimes remove the paper layer on foamboard - but depends on he board - some is really well stuck on.
Whatever you choose - keep those vibrations low. Dont overthink it !

Thanks both.
I think I’ll go for high end foamy tape or high quality velcro like the 3M dual lock.

3M Dual Lock is my go to for fastening stuff. Even batteries.
