Using the Matek H743 with barometer altitude control, ground effect pressure keeps it from accidentally landing as long as the airspeed is set correctly. Handed this project off to another user who will be setting up a sonar and elevator loop for better altitude control.

Looks great! Maybe a low-cost lidar will do wonders for the altitude control and keep it in ground effect longer.
I believe RCTestFlight was originally planning on going that direction with this airframe but will switch to sonar for water operations.
