Auto landing gear troubleshooting

The problem that I am trying to overcome, is the landing gear will not deploy until the FC has booted. The reason this is a problem for me, is that my craft gets stored with the gear up (because of the servo mechanism, it can’t be deployed by hand) then deploys while the craft is sitting on the ground. Trying to avoid damaging the servos, by not lifting the craft up on time ( at the same time the FC deploys). Any ideas on how to over come this?

first idea i can come up with is a simple switch to cut power to the servos while booting up the fc. I have the same problem and i solved it for me with retracting the landing gear with the TX in up position during fc boot sequence and deploying the gear whenever i’m ready.
