Auto Analysis bug?

@Michael_Oborne

Getting a strange output with failing Test: Motor Balance failing and strange motor count. It’s a DJI S900 Hexa frame, and MP 1.3.40 and 1.3.41 are counting 7 and eight motors with Motor Balance = Fail.

See link;

What gives?

@Michael_Oborne

Bump. Any insights?

I was told Michael is on vacation at the moment.

Do you have any log files for this ?
Screen shots?
I am sure there are others that can help if you provide the information.

Got it. Thanks @mboland.

Link to .bin and .log

And the issue is noted in the post above. I am suspecting it to be a MP issue, and not 100% sure though, thus the query.

Thanks!

Have you looked at the messages window while trying to arm?
It should be telling you there what is wrong.

In the middle of your flight you have a radio FS event which is curious.
Your RCin values look a little strange.
Maybe try calibrating Radio again?

Don’t know if you resolved this but I was having this issue on a new build. Along with some whacky flight behavior.

It turned out to be compass 3 was turned on and checked to use this compass.

This is a bug I keep seeing in MP not sure if its MP or a combination of it and the pixhawk that there are some settings that aren’t persisting or aren’t actually being set in the initial setup screens that auto write the setting or don’t have an a write to fc button. Like camera, gimbal, voltage semsor…etc.

I have to go to the parameters list and set them there and they set and persist.

Just my experience have nothing specifically to verify it with.

That test doesn’t look at what sort of vehicle you are running. If you
have rc output functions on any outputs this test will give you misleading
results.
