I have set value of ARSPD_OPTIONS to 11, to cater for failing airspeed sensor. I have also set TRIM_THR value to 65.
if airspeed sensor gets faulty or failed. there will come a mismatched between ground speed and airspeed. Airspeed sensor gets disabled due to arspd_options value set to 11. Now Quadplane should shift to trim throttle 65% as it is the set to maintain plane cruise speed in case of failing airspeed sensor. However i have practically tested Plane 4.4.4 and simulated Plane 4.3.4 and 4.5.7 as well, but behaviour is same. Quadplane donot shift to trim throttle, when airspeed sensor data is disabled.
Question is :
- Why my Quadplane donot shift to trim throttle , when airspeed sensor is disabled ?
- This issue has been resloved in Plane 4.7 dev version as i have simulated in SITL. Why this issue not addressed in stable versions??
- Can i fly my Quadplane on dev version i.e. Plane 4.7 dev ?
