Not heard of this before. To arm I use Throttle down and to the right. To disarm I use throttle down and to the left.
On a quad copter its yaw and not rudder.
You can’t just disarm the flight controller. It must be in a landed state before it will allow disarming otherwise it will think you are applying yaw and flip.
