Arm/disarm APM with switch

I am trying to use ardurover for one of the board.
Is it possible to disable and enable the output of the board or disarm/arm the board with a switch of the controller?

The APM can be put in the auto mode and then a push on push off switch used to start and stop the throttle output. This section of the ArduRover Wiki provides instructions on how to implement the Start/Stop switch: rover.ardupilot.com/wiki/startstop-switch/
