Are there any fail-safe measures for altitude loss?

How can I activate a failsafe-like safety measure when a Quadplane experiences an instantaneous altitude loss of 50-55 meters? Is there something I can do by adjusting parameters?

Not sure if you are still looking for an answer, but I’d recommend you take a look at the following parameters:

Q_ASSIST_ALT - turns on quads when the aircraft descends below a certain altitude.
Q_ASSIST_SPEED - turns on quads when below a certain airpseed
Q_ASSIST_ANGLE - turns on quads when attitude angles are exceeded

Q_ASSIST_ALT may be the closest to what you are looking for, it doesn’t account for “large” altitude loss, but rather sets an altitude floor where the quads could kick on and help - if you fly at a certain altitude (e.g. 250 ft) you could set the floor to 100 or 150 ft, then if the aircraft falls below that during flight the quads will kick on to provide altitude assistance.
