Ardurover ahrs ekf3

Error msg:
AHRS DCM ACTIVE
AHRS EKF3 ACTIVE
EKF3 Lane Switch 0
EKF3 Lane Switch 1
EKF FAILSAFE cleared

this is the message i get when i turn on the pixhawk in my boat. the location of my boat does not fix and the red arrow icon spins and moves

Hi @jb_test,

I suspect that this may be related to the gyros not being able to be calibrated properly if the autopilot is rebooted while on the water (see issue here).

ArduPilot does support “boat mode” which basically skips the gyro calibration and uses the values stored in the eeprom (aka parameters).

Perhaps strangely “boat mode” is only described on the copter wiki so we will add something similar to the Rover wiki (todo added here)

This is all a bit of a guess though, could you set LOG_DISARMED = 1 and then try again and then download and share the onboard log file?
