hello I have the same problem on my two controllers that I have tested, a speedybee f405 wing and a kakute h743 wing. In both 4.57 and 4.6 dev versions. The problem is if I turn on the TX before turning on the flight controller, the TX and RX binds but the FC boots into failsafe mode (CIRCLE THEN RTL) and it stays like that until I reboot the FC. I am using TBS crossfire Tx and nano pro RX.
If I turn on the flight controller first and then the TX, it gets good signal and telemetry and everything works as expected. I inlcude the log file of a restart if TX was turned on before FC.
What crossfire firmware version are you using?
I am running the crossfire 6.42 on both TX and RX

Are you sure you are using a serial port with DMA?
I have changed the serial to the serial 6 on the kakute h743 wing, that I think it is the default for CRSF, the problem persists. The FC works fine if rebooted while connected to the usb or power but not thefirst time it boots …
