Greeting!

I wish to purchase a Lidar for my Skywalker X8 Precision Landing.

I’ve already gone through wiki and ArduPilot pages.

I shortlisted Light Ware LW20/C (100m).
LW20/C

I found the documentation for connecting it with Pixhawk. (I’m using 2.1 Cube).
I’m not sure to purchase it from Light Ware site (Only 1 image and no details about the included items in the package eg: connection cable).

If anyone has experience in Lidar, please mention the model and share a link.

Hi Rijun,

The LW20/C comes with an unterminated cable at the PixHawk end so you will need to add a PixHawk connector to this cable. The easiest way is to join one of the standard cables that comes with the PixHawk. If you have any problems with the setup or testing then contact our integration expert, Robert, at rob@lightware.co.za and he will help you through the process.

Note that the latest version of the LW20/C can be upgraded after purchase using an app that we provide. This means that if you have compatibility issues with different versions of PixHawk code then we can provide a patch for you whenever you need it. Also, any new features that become available can be added to the LW20/C at no cost to you :smile:

I’m using a Pixhawk 2.1 Cube and I hope LW20/C is compatible with it.

Yes it is. We have one here that we use for testing.
