I just tried out ArduPilot Android last night, all permissions are unrestricted, connected to ArduPilot WiFi, but Mission Planner never connects - any ideas to check? Running on Pixel 3 XL. Vehicle running on AdaFruit 8266, connects every time to PC-based MP.
Mission Planner will not connect unless it sees Mavlink packets. This is a UDP protocol so there is no connection to be maintained.
Check the web page on the 8266 to see what’s wrong on that end.
