Ardupilot 2.6 with the 3DR GPS Module

Hello everyone,
I recently recieved my ardupilot 2.6 with the GPS module. I am going to put this on a tricopter that is al,out complete. When I was trying to set up the Ardupilot with the GPS, I noticed that the port on the Ardupilot does not fit the cable the comes out of the port on the GPS module. It seems that the plastic on the cable is to big to go into the port.
