Arducopter flys great but in auto mode pitch and roll reversed

When copter in auto mode and retuning to home position
the pitch and roll are reversed.

Are your props turning backwards from the diagrams?

Reversing RC channels instead of motors is a common mistake in Rover and Plane but not so common with Copter, though still possible.

You are correct. Props now rotating correctly.

If you’d rather fly a “props out” config, you can choose the BetaFlight X Reversed frame type.
