This Year, FOSSDEM (FOSDEM 2025 - Home) is in EUROPE in Bruxelle city (Belgium) and they are opening a Robotics track : [FOSDEM] Call for participation: Robotics and Simulation Room at FOSDEM 2025
Discussing this briefly on discord we get at least 2 developers that mentioned interest to go and probably submit some talks :
I think it would be great if we can sponsors some present there as we did years ago in some US meeting.
The proposal fund would cover some amount of the travel and maybe accommodation.
In addition to some gear for the developer : I got an ArduPilot shirt but it would be great if we all get some and maybe some swag ?
Planned amount $$ (815€):
- Pierre : 580 € : travel (253€) + hotel (297.90€) + new AP shirt (30€)
- George: 235€ : travel (80€) + swag (155 €):
300 ArduPilot stickers around 10cm wide will be 125 EUR
- 1 ArduPilot t-shirt for me will be another 30 EUR.
