[quote=“driedeker”]does not run on my win 7 ult 64 ,

Can you post up your application log files? They are located in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\apmplanner2, and are log.txt, log.txt.1 log.txt2 etc. Either via pastebin, or another file sharing service?

Thanks

pastebin.com/PTLSCM64

I’ve split this off as a separate topic, to help find the issue: Thx

I also have complete failure on my windows 7 Pro system when trying to start APM planner 2 :frowning:

“apmplanner2,exe has stopped working”

Each attempt results in same text file seen below:

Brings up small APM 2.0 Splash window and then small blank CLI type (black background) window.

Dies within 1 second of attempted start.

Any thoughts appreciated Bill.

Gary

I will ask MichaelC to look into this. We have another instance of this happening on startup on Windows. I’m not sure how far he is with a resolution, but it’s being actively investigated. Thx

Are you running 64 or 32 bit? Do you have any other Qt based applications installed like iPython?

Hi Bill,

I noticed on your Blog you had provided a fix on a related issue, so I uninstalled / and re-downloaded APMPlanner 2.0 and now it comes up fine.

FYI 64 bit.

Looking forward to giving it a workout.

Not marking as solved, because don’t know if it fixed it for original correspondent.

Best Regards,

Gary

Yep new download now works for me Thanks

Please can you mark as solved next time, I have done this now for you. I’m pleased that you now have it working
