the apm was working fine till day before yesterday . I tried installing the firmware today and it failed with this message “Failed to download new firmware : System.argumentException : The given port name does not start with COM/com or does not resolve to a valid serial port …” .
I tried it on a different laptop and still the same error
I checked in the device manager COM port is not showing.
i have no clue whats going on . Is it a minor or a major issue?
In the APM the green power light is on and the red gyro light keeps blinking

i have exactly the same error, red light freezed, green light blinking. In addition to 404 error on loading maps…i will keep you updated about any solution

Check on upper right corner the comunicating port, and switch from auto to the com port in use…
